KC is the founder and President of Stirling 21 Consulting. She has over 35 years of experience in Human Resource Management working with a variety of industries such as Hotel & Restaurant, Financial Services, Transportation, Social Services, Consulting, and Medical Services. She has experience working with start-ups and small businesses developing HR infrastructures as well as with company reorganizations and closures. KC has had the pleasure of developing and mentoring other HR professionals towards mastering their HR competencies. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (Go Illini!).

As a young girl, KC was obsessed with hockey. It was her dream to play for the Chicago Blackhawks someday. That is, until her best friend showed her a picture of players who were missing their front teeth. Not being a fan of the dentist, she decided to pursue a much more teeth-friendly profession. Although the HR field has presented her with many challenges, keeping her teeth has not been one of them. And while KC still has a passion for hockey, she is strictly a spectator. Not so for her work in HR. She is fully engaged with this passion, taking an enthusiastic and proactive role in helping small businesses thrive.
